A quick visit to Disneyland!
Hi friends!
We've seen a LOT of rain up here in the Pacific Northwest, so any day that starts with even a peak of sunshine has me dancing around a little. Spring Break starts for us next week, and we are looking forward to seeking out a little sunshine in one of my family's favorite places to visit, Lake Chelan.
This last month has been BUSY! If you remember my last post, you saw the beginning of Girl Scout Cookie sales, which took over my garage (and life!) for about 3 solid weeks. Thankfully, all the cookies have been sold and I'm able to get back to my regularly scheduled routine.
I did manage to sneak away for three days to my other happy place - Disneyland! I was invited to participate in a training session for Travel Agents, and we got to explore all three onsite hotels and some of the Good Neighbor Hotels as well. Even though I consider Disneyland my 'home park' there was still a ton of information to learn and absorb. I also was able to enjoy my first solo trip - and without kids - since being a parent! Most people ask if I missed my kids every moment I was there, and yes I missed them....but honestly I loved every minute of being able to walk through those two parks and spend time looking at the details and not having to worry if my child was touching something he wasn't supposed to, or wandering off, etc. I also got to eat my own churro without having to share! It was heavenly! haha! Small pleasures.
Check out this view from one of the Premium View rooms at Paradise Pier!
On our first night, we were treated to a VIP viewing area for World of Color - this show is NOT to be missed when visiting Disneyland and California Adventure.

On of my favorite moments was getting to see The Main Street Electrical Parade. I have very vivid memories of watching this parade with my family when I was younger, and to see it again when it makes it short return as an adult was very special.

I hope you've enjoyed a few of my favorite moments from my trip. Aside from the time spent learning more about this favorite destination of mine, I was blessed to spend time in the parks savoring every moment.
I hope you have some sunshine this next week wherever you are!
Have a magical week, sweet friends!
