It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.... in July???

Hi friend! Late Sunday night I got back from my trip last week to Lake Chelan, Washington.  My own personal happy place, what sometimes feels like my second home.  I have been traveling there with my family since I was a baby, so the memories I have of it always leave me excited for my next visit.  It's a place I can relax, reconnect with myself and family, and enjoy this beautiful world God has created for us.  It's also the location of where my husband and I were married nearly 15 years ago, so it holds a very special place in my heart. For the first time in many years, all of my siblings and our families and parents were together. It is already mid-July and the stores have their back to school supplies stocked and ready for the next school year - I'm trying to figure out how to squeeze more fun into our summer before I have two kids in school all day next year!  We have some big changes ahead of us.  I am looking forward to what those changes bring for me and my work schedule - more flexibility during the day hours and expanding my knowledge.
